While the weather may still be undecided, with fleeting flashes of sunshine between stretches of grey, my wardrobe has officially moved on from spring. Holidays are booked, linen is back in rotation and I’m firmly in summer-dressing mode. Conveniently, H&M’s latest collection seems to be operating on exactly the same wavelength.

Right now, the collection is filled with the kind of easy, expensive-looking pieces that make summer dressing feel genuinely exciting again. The skirts offering is equally strong, with lightweight cotton styles that feel destined for future heatwaves, while the sandal selection alone deserves its own moment; minimal leather flip-flops, strappy styles and sleek designer-looking pairs included.
