The suede Valentino open-toe pumps and have a toe strap that goes across the vamp and is made from a see-through polymer material. The shoes feature a VLogo Signature accessory with antique-effect brass finish, and a stiletto heel measuring 4.1 inches.

Tyla wore a custom look featuring a sheer, silver-embellished top that led to a bright turquoise skirt with a high slit allowing the shoes to take center stage. The outfit included matching hanging crystal-embellished accessories from her wrists that matched with the rest of her look. The singer, who said she was a fan of animal-inspired fashion, gave some background on the inspiration behind the design.
“I was really inspired by a peacock. I’m basically a shiny peacock today,” she said, adding that the look was designed by Alessandro Michele, Valentino’s creative director. The “Water” singer styled her hair in a wet look, which red carpet host Ashley Graham complimented on the red carpet, to which Tyla responded, “It’s splashing on everyone, I’m sorry.”

In 2025, Tyla adhered to the “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” theme by opting for a fitted, off-the-shoulder dress courtesy of Jacquemus. The singer’s floor-length gown also came with a dramatic coat with a long train featuring the same black and white striped effect. She was styled by Law Roach for the event.
For the 2024 Met Gala, the singer arrived in a form-hugging sand-like gown that took inspiration from the “Time” element of the evening’s theme. The singer wore a dress designed by Balmain, that was made from a fabric that had a sand-like look sculpted over her body. She paired the dress with matching platform sandals and an hour-glass shaped hand bag.
