Miranda Kerr Honored at Living Beauty Cancer Foundation Luncheon

The annual luncheon hosted by Amie Satchu at her Beverly Hills home has become a fixture on the Los Angeles charity calendar, drawing a notably larger crowd this year for the Living Beauty Cancer Foundation. The packed gathering came as the organization expands its mission, now serving thousands more women navigating cancer.

“Last year, we were only supporting 2,500,” said Satchu, a model and the creator of vintage jewelry company Maison Mèrenor. “Today, that number has grown to 6,000, which means nearly 10 new women a day.”

Partnering with Mytheresa, which hosted a shoppable pop-up to benefit the cause, the luncheon maintained its mix of fashion and philanthropy. A silent auction featured a range of items that included a trip to Morocco, a limited-edition Hermès Fil D’Argent pillow, eyelash services with New Lounge and a three-month membership at Remedy Place. Guests browsed pieces between cocktails and courses while supporting services ranging from wellness programs to emergency financial assistance, raising more than $1 million.

The event also honored Miranda Kerr, who received this year’s ambassador recognition.

“This award means a lot to me because it represents something that I care about deeply, and that’s education and transparency,” said Kerr, model and founder of Kora Organics. “It’s so important because it empowers us to make more informed choices for our health.”

Satchu reflected on the deeply personal roots of the organization, founded after her mother’s cancer diagnosis.

“It became a community, a place where women don’t have to pretend they’re OK, but where they’re held in both the joy and the heartbreak of what they’re navigating,” said Satchu. “Healing is not just physical, it is emotional, it is spiritual, and it touches every part of the woman’s life.”
