Striking workers, labour leaders, and community allies to rally outside Province House this morning


“The government is still offering a deal we turned down months ago,” said Christa Sweeney, CUPE Long Term and Community Care Committee Chair. “Thousands of workers voted for job action instead of taking that deal, and after two weeks on the picket line, they still want us to take the same offer that led to this strike. At this point, it’s just disappointing that they won’t return to the table in good faith and resume negotiations.”
