I’m a Senior Fashion Editor—Everything I’m Buying for Spring

Hello, dream spring wardrobe. Now that the season is well under way, I’ve been putting together warm-weather outfits for the first time all year with a combination of pieces that have been idling in the back of my closet all winter and several new items I’ve shopped recently. It’s made me acutely aware of all the gaps in my spring lineup and as such, I’ve started to rack up a lengthy shopping list to fill them.

At the start of each new season, I keep a running tab of all the pieces I want to add to my wardrobe to nail each of the overarching trends I’m seeing, and for spring 2026 that looks like colored T-shirts, khaki jeans, and knee-length skirts that are trendy but not too trendy—my personal style leans more understated, after all. Since I have zero patience, I’ve already began buying and wearing several items on this list, so I can vouch for how good they are IRL. Here, discover my complete buy list for the season including what’s in my closet now and what will (hopefully) be added soon enough.
