Siddiqsons is embracing a long-term vision, placing sustainability at the core of its strategy.
For Fall/Winter 2027-2028, Ahsan Zia, Siddiqsons Limited sales and marketing general manager, said the Pakistani mill is focused on presenting application-driven fabric developments, customer-focused innovations aligned with global trends, and enhanced sustainable processes supported by measurable data.
“Our approach prioritizes scalable, ready-to-adopt solutions rather than one-off collaborations,” he said.
Siddiqsons’ focus remains on scalable sustainability. The mill’s Cryo dyeing technology, which enables sulphur dyeing under ambient conditions, significantly reducing water, energy, chemical usage, and CO₂ emissions while remaining cost neutral, is leading this mission.
For F/W 27-28, the mill is expanding the sulphur palette with deep blacks with cleaner, non-reddish undertones, along with earthy shades such as khaki, tobacco, olive, and warm browns. Zia added that grey scales with authentic chip-off aesthetics and sulphur blues inspired by classic denim are also key developments. “Our focus remains on natural-looking finishes and emphasizing genuine, wearable effects,” he said.
Additionally, Zia said the mill aims to advance low-impact denim through reduced water processing, cleaner chemistry, and optimized finishing techniques with fewer wash cycles, ensuring measurable sustainability without compromising performance.

Fibers are an important factor. Zia said the mill is focusing on “balanced fiber compositions that enhance comfort, durability, and long-term value.”
New developments emphasize cotton-rich blends combined with sustainable fibers such as Circulose and hemp, along with performance fibers to improve stretch and recovery. “These are supported by durable yarn and balanced fabric constructions that extend garment life and reduce overall environmental impact. Our approach ensures that every component within the blend contributes meaningfully to performance, wearability, and longevity,” he said.
While fabrics with a soft handfeel, enhanced drape and superior comfort are in high demand, Zia said authenticity and versatility are qualities that continue to define the denim market.
“Key trends include vintage-inspired washes with natural highs and lows, muted earthy tones beyond traditional indigo, and comfort-driven fits with clean silhouettes. There is also a growing demand for cross-seasonal fabrics,” he said
Zia emphasized that the collection reflects the industry-wide mood for fabrics that are “practical, conscious and grounded in reality.”
“Brands are increasingly prioritizing commercially viable sustainability, authentic design, and reliable performance,” he said. “There is a clear shift toward solutions that deliver real impact today rather than conceptual innovation. This is precisely where Siddiqsons positions itself, focusing on innovation that is practical, scalable and performance driven.”
