Kendra Scott Taps CFO as Tapestry Expands Board

VC Corporation spin-off Kontoor Brands has named Erinn Murphy as vice president, global head of finance and operations, Helly Hansen and corporate investor relations. Effective early May, Murphy will embark on an international assignment in Oslo, Norway, as a member of the Helly Hansen leadership team. She will also oversee corporate investor relations.

She joins from Crocs, where she was senior vice president of investor relations and corporate strategy. Murphy’s appointment coincides with Karapetian’s expanded role as vice president, overseeing global brand and supply chain finance as well as corporate investor relations. Karapetian will return from Helly Hansen in the third quarter of 2026 to allow for a transition period.

Additionally, CFO and global head of operations Joseph Alkire will assume an expanded role on Kontoor’s executive leadership team, handling global responsibilities for the Helly Hansen brand.

Fashion and lifestyle brand Kendra Scott announced the appointment of Mike McMullen as chief financial officer. Effective April 27, he will build the brand’s operational foundation for future growth. McMullen brings a track record of building and scaling consumer businesses, including experiences from Yeti Holdings and Dell Technologies, to guide the Austin-based organization into its next phase.

Japan-based bra brand Wacoal America announced that CEO Mitchell Kauffman will retire, following six years of leadership and a 40-year career in the intimates apparel sector. James Wheatley, who has served as president of Wacoal America for the past year, has been named president and CEO. He brings nearly four decades of retail and intimate apparel experience to the expanded role, including leadership roles at Vanity Fair and Maidenform, followed by his six-year tenure as vice president of sales at Wacoal America. Kauffman will remain on board as an advisor to support the transition.

Nonprofit network B Lab is evolving into a more globally integrated organization, with a new board overseeing this transition. The renovated structure will work to “introduce the most rigorous standards of business behavior in its history.”

Francine Lemos will serve as board chair, with members including Alejo Canton, Bart Houlahan, Caroline Kamanja, Elisabeth Laville, Mahlet Getachew, Martin Bunch, Roma McCaig and Tom Cummings. B Lab co-lab executive Clay Brown has been appointed chief standards officer (CSO). In his new role, Brown will lead the network through key mission advancements, including the new standards and assessments efforts. Additionally, Nicola Millson has been appointed chief markets officer (CMO).

Thomas previously served as CFO of Nu Skin Enterprises, where he oversaw the multilevel marketing (MLM) company’s financial strategy and operations—advising executives, evolving its commercial model and expanding into new businesses.

Route, a post-purchase platform software developer, appointed Arman Panjwani as chief financial officer and Alexandria Orr as vice president of enterprise revenue. As CFO, Panjwani will oversee the organization’s global financial operations and strategic planning. He previously led corporate finance and investor relations at Snap Inc. during its IPO and growth years. As VP of enterprise revenue, Orr will lead the company’s expansion into the large-scale retail and brand segment.
