Etam Taps LVMH Prize-winning Nensi Dojaka for Swim Capsule

SENSUAL SUMMER: French lingerie giant Etam is joining forces with the London-based, LVMH Prize-winning designer Nensi Dojaka for an all-black, limited-edition swimwear capsule.

Retailing from 30 euros across France, the U.S. and Mexico from next Tuesday, the range features a series of minimal, graphic silhouettes that fuse Etam’s lingerie expertise with Nensi Dojaka’s graphic cutouts and precise draping.

The designer said the accessible range is aimed at flattering “all women’s bodies while keeping its value on very fine, ultra-feminine details.”

Over the past five years, Dojaka has built a strong visual identity around pure lines, asymmetric cutouts, delicate draping and meticulous construction. The brand broke into the scene as the poster child of the sheer fashion trend in the post-COVID-19 era, and scored a major collaboration with Calvin Klein in 2024.

Her unique blend of seduction, poise and elegance has fostered a loyal online following and attracted a slew of celebrity fans, including the likes of Alexa Chung, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, Kendall Jenner, Anya Taylor-Joy, Olivia Rodrigo, Sienna Miller, Cailee Spaeny, and fellow Albanian pop star Dua Lipa.

The Etam x Nensi Dojaka collection, grounded in her long-standing fascination with lingerie, focuses on a tight edit of 1990s-inspired black swimwear, with key items including structured bandeau tops, one-piece swimsuits, and a cutout dress for seamless beach to city transition.

Born in Tirana, the capital of Albania, Dojaka moved to the U.K. at the age of 16 to attend boarding school in Shrewsbury, England, where she did fine arts, double maths, and English literature. She graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2019, and her collection was presented at the press show during London Fashion Week in February that year.

She was then shortlisted as one of the 20 finalists for the 2021 LVMH Prize for Young Designers and took home the grand prize in September 2021, two weeks before her solo debut show for the spring 2022 season during London Fashion Week. She snapped up the BFC Foundation Award for Emerging Talent at the Fashion Awards later that year.
