S&P/TSX composite up more than 300 points, oil falls after ceasefire announced




TORONTO — Canada’s main stock index was up more than 300 points in late-morning trading, while the price of oil dropped below US$100 a barrel after Iran, the United States and Israel agreed to a two-week ceasefire.
