EDF Pledges €240 Million Support for Heat Pumps, Electric Trucks


The aim is to revive the French heat pump market that has sputtered in recent years, and to subsidize the purchase of about 2,000 electric trucks to jolt demand that rose by about 40% last year to around 2,500 heavy-duty transport vehicles, Beatrice Bigois, EDF’s senior executive vice-president for customers and energy services, said on a conference call.
