In an already special setting — her 500th match for Barcelona — the captain delivered an outstanding performance, scoring and playing a leading role in the 6-0 thrashing of Real Madrid.

She set the tempo for the team and symbolised Barça’s absolute dominance.

The clash between Lyon and Wolfsburg was very evenly matched… until extra time. A tight game was followed by four French goals, something rarely seen in an additional period, as they surged into the semi-finals in style.

Los Blancos were once again comprehensively outplayed by Barcelona, conceding a 6-0 defeat that reflected the huge current gap between the two projects.

With no ability to respond, no defensive solidity and no attacking threat, Madrid were completely overwhelmed from the opening minutes. Not even individual performances like Linda Caicedo’s could change the course of the game.
