NBA star Jaden Ivey is without a job after posting a lengthy video rant filled with attacks on Pride Month and those who identify as LGBTQ as “unrighteous,” and now Patriots star TreVeyon Henderson is taking a stand along with Ivey regarding the controversial beliefs.
Ivey was sidelined for the season with an injury last week and has since increased his Instagram Live activity, with the video in question posted to his account on Monday morning. By Monday night, the Bulls had waived Ivey for conduct detrimental to the team. He would go live again on Monday evening to question the team parting ways with him over the incident.

Henderson decided to make his stance on the issue clear, and he quote-tweeted a post about Ivey being waived by the Bulls, adding a Bible verse that leaves no question about how he feels about the Bulls’ decision, citing Matthew 5:10.
It remains to be seen how the Patriots respond to Henderson vocally supporting Ivey for comments that got the NBA star removed from his team, especially given the divisive nature of the opinions Henderson and Ivey share. But the move will certainly be made with Henderson’s rookie performance in mind, as he racked up 911 rushing yards and nine touchdowns on the ground for the Patriots during a run to Super Bowl LX last season.
