Avatar: Fire and Ash is now available to purchase digitally for $19.99 on VOD platforms. There has yet to be any news about a Disney+ streaming release date.
Fire and Ash was the third biggest movie of 2025, behind only Zootopia 2 and Ne Zha 2 in worldwide box office numbers. It made a whopping $1.4 billion during its theatrical run, which is actually the lowest number in franchise history. Due to those declining numbers, James Cameron has stated the only way he’ll be able to do Avatar 4 and 5 is by producing the movies on a much lower budget.

Although we don’t yet have a streaming release date for this movie, we do know that it will eventually land on Disney+. This will presumably happen sometime after the Blu-ray release date, so most likely June or July 2026. In the meantime, you can stream the other Avatar movies on Disney+ to prepare.
