The 36 Best Anti-Trend Spring Items for a Timeless Wardrobe

One of my least favorite feelings in the world is knowing I wasted money. And sartorially speaking, adding a new item to my wardrobe only to find it feeling dated three months later is the epitome of that in my eyes. So after many (many!) of these incidents I decided to only invest in items that don’t feel overtly trendy, ones I can return to year after year and still feel excited to wear. The goal is a wardrobe of timeless pieces that don’t have a specific year timestamped on them—basically anti-trend pieces.

Since we’re right at the top of the spring season, I’ve been pouring over the new arrivals searching for classic items to consider adding to my wardrobe. I landed on 36 options that feel current but I also know I’ll wear for years to come—think timeless silhouettes, beautiful fabrics, and thoughtful designs. So if you also find yourself feeling exhausted by the never-ending trend cycle and want to invest in pieces with staying power, I’ve got you covered. Read on for the best anti-trend items for spring 2026, from tailored suede jackets to barely-there sandals.
