Jimmy Choo, Roger Vivier Shoes Star in Raye’s ‘Click Clack Symphony’

Raye‘s latest music video for “Click Clack Symphony” celebrates the power of a high heel. Inspired by the rhythmic sounds of high heels, the song is a call to action for women and delivers an uplifting message about the power of high-heeled shoes and getting out of one’s comfort zone.

Raye wore the Roger Vivier I Love Vivier Pumps in red patent leather.

The singer previously opened up about the song’s themes, saying it was about those times in life when going out is needed to overcome life’s burdens, as well as day-to-day routines like eating, sleeping and scrolling on the phone.

“Send the call out, send the call out. Calling all my baddest women, it’s about to go down. Click-click-click clack symphony, I need that/ Click-click-click clack symphony, I love the sound of it,” Raye sings in the chorus. “She’s empowered by the sound of us marching. Her legs are hurting, but her back is still arching/And this sound reminds me that it’s going to be alright.”

Raye wore the Jimmy Choo Scarlett Suede Pumps in the video.

The song name-drops Jimmy Choo and Manolo Blahnik, while the music video features high heels from a plethora of brands, including Roger Vivier. “Jim-Jimmy Choo, it’s time to open up the closet,” she sings. “It’s a sad sight to see Manolo Blahnik gather cobwebs.”

As Raye sinks into her couch and lies on her floor in agony, a group of women rushes into her house in high heels to pull her out of her funk. In another scene, the singer is spotted scaling a door using her shoe’s heels as hooks to climb up.

A still from the video.

The song’s theme is resonant, as there was a cultural shift away from heels earlier this decade, with women opting for flats or sneakers when going out. A woman went viral on TikTok in 2024 when she shared a video pleading for younger women to wear heels to the club. Although she received some backlash at the time, with women defending their right to be comfortable, it seems the tide is shifting and women are once again opting for sky-high heels over a more sensible option when going out.
