How to solve the Azure Moon Labyrinth puzzle in Crimson Desert

The Azure Moon Labyrinth puzzle in Crimson Desert is an ancient ruin and one of the Thread in the Forest challenges. In the world of Pywel, there are many dungeons where rewards are locked behind puzzles. To solve them, you don’t need to master a skill or beat dangerous foes, but instead, you must explore the map and look for clues.

To assist you on your expedition, here’s how to solve the Azure Moon Labyrinth puzzle in Crimson Desert, with hints of how to complete it and the straight answer.

Azure Moon Labyrinth location in Crimson Desert

As you’re exploring The Witchwoods in Crimson Desert, you’ll find a mysterious energy, which is a question mark on the map, near the Witch’s House. The mysterious energy will lead you to the Azure Moon Labyrinth, but you won’t find it above ground.

To enter the Azure Moon Labyrinth, you must take the ladder hidden inside a small wooden booth in the Phoniel Ranch area, just northeast of the Witch’s House in the Witchwoods. The wooden booth can be found between a couple destroyed wagons.

Once you’re underground, follow the only available path. You will need to cross from one platform to another by avoiding the flamethrowers on the walls and the traps on the floor. The best strategy is to cling on to the left wall and climb along it to the next platform. Alternatively, if you have a decent chunk of food, you can tank the damage and use your upgraded Axiom Force to leap to the other platforms.

Next, you will reach a closed door with a lever beside it. Activate it to gain access to the puzzle room.

How to solve the Azure Moon Labyrinth puzzle in Crimson Desert

The Azure Moon Labyrinth puzzle consists of eight buttons bearing different symbols. You need to press the five correct ones — by pushing them or using Force Palm — in any order, to open the door on the south side of the room and reveal the exit.

Just like the Dragon’s Stone Chamber puzzle, the only hint you have is on the map on the wall outside the puzzle room. You’ll see a map of a village with five red X’s, which correspond to the buttons you’ll need to press. The next step is to identify the region depicted on the wall.

As the map is a bit hard to read, here’s a clue: look for the Pororin Village, which can be found east of the House of Healing. To access it, you must complete the “Trembling Woods” mission, which is one of the Pororin Forest Guardian faction quests.

  • On the western wall (from left to right), press the first, third, and fourth buttons.
  • On the eastern wall, press the middle two buttons.

You can press them in any order, and once you do, the gate will unlock.

All Azure Moon Labyrinth puzzle rewards

You receive two rewards from completing this puzzle. The first you collect after opening the south door, which reveals an abyss cresset. By interacting with it, you unlock one of the game’s fast-travel stations.
