The bright sunshine of spring has finally arrived, and swiftly, fashion people across the globe have shrugged off their winter coats in favour of light spring jackets. Already, the classic outerwear buys of the season have returned, and clear trends are starting to break through. But overarching all of these is one binding print that is bringing a joyful edge to spring dressing. From blazers to bomber jackets, trench coats to technical jackets, everywhere I look, stylish people are wearing polka dot jackets this spring.

The polka dot print is never far from the trend cycle. Last summer, we saw a bold return of spots through pretty silk tops, scarf accessories and as the weather cooled, a smattering of spots over outerwear.
