This Luxury All-Business Airline Is Launching London & Paris To Maldives Flights In December

Luxury carrier beOndis set to launch new all-business class flights to two cities in Western Europe, as the carrier expands its reach to London and Paris. The services, which are set to commence in December, will provide luxury travel options for the wealthy to travel between these two capitals and the sun-soaked beaches of the Maldives.

Onboard, travelers will enjoy all lie-flat business class seating configurations and be attentively looked after by a crew that serves curated dining experiences. Currently, the airline already operates to Zurich, Munich, and Milan in Europe, with Paris and London set to be the fourth and fifth European routes, respectively.

All Business Class Flights To The Maldives

Maldivian carrier beOnd is based at Malé International Airport (MLE) and headquartered in Dubai . The airline is the brainchild of investment firm Arabesque and the Maldivian SIMDI group. Given the isolated location of the Maldives, all entry to the country is usually by air, and international airlines dominate operations at MLE. BeOnd offers a product that appeals to the luxury traveler by offering an all-business class experience on its fleet of two Airbus narrow-body aircraft.

As shared by Aeroroutes, beOnd’s European service expansion will see a total of three weekly services added between Malé and London Heathrow or Paris, effective from just before Christmas. Both of these services will be offered onboard the airline’s Airbus A321 aircraft and travel overnight in both directions.

The introduction of services to London Heathrow Airport (LHR) and Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) will be complemented by the airline’s expansion of services to Zurich, which will now increase from twice-weekly to five weekly from December 15, with a mix of both the A319 and A321. Munich will also get a boost, going from two services to four weekly services from December 17.

These airlines place luxury first and fly a limited number of routes.

BeOnd, The Only All Business Class Airline To The Maldives

BeOnd is the only carrier that offers all business class travel to and from the Maldives, with the only other carrier in the world that offers a similar product being La Compagnie, a French airline that offers similar services to and from North America. For BeOnd, it captures a market that is currently dominated by international carriers, given the relatively modest network of flights offered by Maldivian, the nation’s flag carrier.

Maldivian operates a fleet of 22 aircraft, which include 23 turboprops (ATR 42-600, ATR 72-600, DHC-6-300, and DHC-8-300), alongside one Airbus A320 and one Airbus A330-200. International destinations include (but are not limited to) Beijing, Chengdu, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Shenzhen and Melbourne (charter from May 17).

BeOnd is an airline that looks to set itself apart from traditional long-haul carriers, with the idea that the airline can offer services direct to resort hubs, bypassing large international airports and transporting travelers right from home to the sun-soaked beaches of the Maldives. The airline tickets usually include a private chauffeur pick-up service, meaning the luxury mode of travel starts as soon as you walk out the front door.
