World Indoor Athletics Championships: Simon Ehammer breaks men’s hepathlon record


Switzerland’s Simon Ehammer time of two minutes 41.04 seconds in the men’s 1000m to reach 6670 points in the men’s heptathlon and beat Ashton Eaton’s previous world record of 6645 at the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Poland.
