K-pop fans gather in Seoul for comeback show


Some 260,000 fans are expected to watch K-pop stars BTS perform together on Saturday for the first time since October 2022, in the historic heart of South Korea’s capital.

BBC Seoul correspondent Jake Kwon has been speaking to BTS fans in Gwanghwamun Square ahead of the comeback concert.

The seven K-pop stars – RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook – are playing a one-hour set that will include songs from their long-awaited new album, Arirang, which was released on Friday afternoon.
