After re-creating a J.Crew outfit formula this fall and receiving a slew of compliments, I made it a priority to hit up the popular retailer for more inspiration throughout the year. With the start of spring, there is no better time than now to start taking styling notes from J.Crew’s latest arrivals. Sure enough, I found a chic array of looks worth trying now. It was hard to narrow them down but I selected six effortless, elevated outfits that are incredibly easy to pull off.

Ahead, I share and breakdown each of the inspiring outfit ideas. Each includes standout basics like white T-shirts, button-downs, and black flats. It dawned on me afterward that half of the looks also feature the Zoe Barrel Jean in a variety of cool washes. A particular favorite that is often included are the new Bea Ballet Flats—the V-cut, almond-toe design has my attention.
