Top Gabbard aid Joe Kent resigns in opposition to Iran war


In a bombshell announcement, the intelligence community’s top counterterrorism official said Tuesday he was resigning over the U.S. and Israeli war on Iran.

“After much reflection, I have decided to resign,” Joe Kent, the head of the National Counterterrorism Center, posted on X. “I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran.’’
