Zoe Saldaña returned to the Academy Awards red carpet on Sunday night in Los Angeles, wearing a Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello silk satin dress.
Her silk satin gown featured a sheer lace corset bodice and a long, pared-back skirt. Underwired cups, a soft sweetheart neckline and thin spaghetti straps shaped the front. At the back, a low scoop exposed the top half of her back, and a short row of covered buttons marked the center closure. Below the waist, silk satin kept the line long and straight, with a slight train behind her.

Saldaña kept the styling restrained. A Cartier necklace set with red stones drew focus to the neckline, pairing the statement piece with small diamond studs and rings. Her center-parted low bun kept the back view clear. Her Saint Laurent lace Chandelle platform sandals stayed mostly hidden under the hem.
Saldaña frequently collaborates with stylist Petra Flannery, who also counts this year’s Oscar nominee for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role Emma Stone among her list of clients.

At the 2025 Oscars, Flannery styled Saldaña in a look courtesy of Saint Laurent. The strapless dress featured a tiered design with the Y2K bubble hem. Sheer black gloves coordinated with the look, and Cartier jewelry added a touch of sparkle to the actress’ attire.
The “Emilia Pérez” Oscar winner returns to the Academy Awards as a presenter. Last year, Saldaña was the recipient of the Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role Oscar for her role in the 2024 musical drama, which also won the Oscar for Best Achievement in Music Written for Motion Pictures (Original Song).
