In 2006, after testing Miu Miu‘s influence in Milan, London and New York, Miuccia Prada settled on Paris to host her secondary label. “It was the right moment.” she told WWD.

Miu Miu’s storytelling, a spontaneous amalgam of the zeitgeist and Miuccia Prada’s spunky pragmatism, began its rise 20 years ago. It came into its own just as the next class of young celebrities — actors, artists and musicians — began to directly influence fashion.
