Nehera Fall 2026 Ready-to-Wear Runway, Fashion Show & Collection Review

The works of Canadian-American abstract painter Agnès Martin informed the Slovak brand Nehera’s elegant fall 2026 collection. Its design team took her paradoxical approach, which melded Expressionism and minimalism, to heart.

The spirit of Martin’s atmospheric oeuvres (they consider it “visual poetry”) — from the final phase of her working life, where only what necessary remained — were channeled into the garments. That was literally the case with a painting made of pastel-colored stripes that morphed in the collection into a skirt made of eggshell blue and powder pink shirts. Those were part of a “three-shirt suit” outfit, with a white jacket that was like a high-collared, belted shirt.

Like Martin, Nehera’s design team focused on colors and materials, as well as the atmosphere they conveyed, rather than actual silhouettes. An ecru, full-length dress had asymmetric draping and pleating. A light violet button-up sweater topped roomy gray trousers. The brand’s quiet luxury came through in details such as topstitching and tucks.

There was monochromatic layering of tailor-made desaturated colors — think champagne and apricot — as well as tailor-made fabrics like wool suiting, Tencel and high-density cotton. Though there were some utilitarian details including boxy shapes, fluid looks abounded.
