Michelle Pfeiffer Pearl-Adorned Oscar de la Renta Dress

Michelle Pfeiffer brought classic elegance to “The Madison” red carpet premiere in London on Wednesday in a black Oscar de la Renta dress with white pearls adorning the fabric.

The Oscar-nominated actress wore a look from the label’s pre-spring 2026 collection — a long-sleeve black midi dress with a slight cinched waist and flowing bodice for a streamlined, yet movement-based, silhouette.

All over the black material of Pfeiffer’s dress, white pearls adorned the fluid silk georgette fabric, bunched together on the bodice and strewn atop the mildly billowed sleeves and the top of the skirt. Clustered pearl dangle earrings continued the motif, along with pearl rings by Tasaki. Pfeiffer wore black pointed toe heels by Gianvito Rossi to complete her ensemble.

The actress’ hair was tossed into a natural style, with soft curls cascading down her shoulders by stylist Richard Marin. Her makeup included highlights like bold brows, lined eyes and a soft lip by artist Valli O’Reilly. Pfeiffer’s look was curated by stylist Samantha McMillen, who also collaborates with 2026 Oscar nominee Elle Fanning.

Oscar de la Renta’s pre-spring 2026 collection was created by co-creative directors Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia. The collection channeled a “garden in full bloom,” per the label’s official description of the collection.

Along with ornate mother of pearl and crystal crafted motifs, airy cotton poplins and lacy guipures were included throughout the pre-spring curation. Refined feminine designs debuted in abundance, with styles like Michelle Pfeiffer’s “The Madison” premiere dress offering a contrast to lighter looks on the runway.
