This week’s roundup of staffing changes on Parliament Hill.
Diane Cheng is now deputy director at the office of Housing Minister Gregor Robertson.

She spent the last three years on the Hill in operations roles, more recently serving as Robertson’s senior regional advisor for British Columbia.
During last year’s federal election campaign, she managed operations for Liberal MP and Minister of Veterans Affairs Jill McKnight’s campaign.
Cheng is an alumna from Simon Fraser University and holds a degree in political science.
Jeremy Tucker has a new role with the Liberal Research Bureau.

He announced on LinkedIn that he had been named the bureau’s manager of digital strategy and analytics.
Tucker started on the Hill as an intern in 2023 and worked as the senior creative and digital strategy coordinator for Chrystia Freeland’s unsuccessful Liberal leadership campaign last winter.
His most recent role was as a digital strategy advisor.
Elsewhere, we have a couple of moves in MP offices.
Firstly, Dhoopan Naik is now a member’s assistant in the office of Grant Jackson, the Conservative MP for Brandon-Souris.
Meanwhile, Fatima Badran is joining Ottawa-Vanier Liberal MP’s Mona Fortier’s office as a communications assistant.
She comes to new role from the office of former MP Tatiana Auguste, where she was the parliamentary director.
Auguste was removed from office after the Supreme Court of Canada declared her victory in last spring’s election invalid because of a voting counting error.
She was declared the winner in Terrebonne by a single vote after a recount.
Auguste is set to run again for the Liberals in a yet-to-be called byelection in the riding.
