A day in the life of a TV morning show host


4:45 a.m. Dash through the dark studio to the makeup room. Get dressed in a suit, which I’ve picked out the day before (anything to save time in the morning), and then through a quick makeup and hair routine. At this point, most of the team are onto their second cup of coffee. I don’t drink coffee (weird, I know), but I do bring a pot of mint or lemon tea into the studio. Today, a couple of producers dipped into the makeup room to brief me on Mexico.
