Chanel girl Nicole Kidman wore a fresh-off-the-runway look by the maison for the New York City premiere of the actress’ new series “Scarpetta” on Tuesday night.
The Oscar-winning “The Hours” star styled a look from the French luxury fashion house’s spring 2026 couture collection — a long-sleeve, double-breasted black blazer with a sheer maxiskirt and voluminous feathery finish.

The blazer included ornately designed floral button details in shiny shades to contrast the black fabric. As for accessories, Kidman went minimalist, favoring delicate diamond rings and earrings to add a touch of sparkle to her attire.
When it came to glam, the actress’ blond hair was styled with a middle part and soft waves that cascaded down her shoulders by Adir Abergel. Makeup, including highlights like bold brows, lined eyes and a pink lip, was provided by artist Gucci Westman. Stylist Jason Bolden curated Kidman’s red carpet premiere look.

Debuting during Paris Couture Week last January, Chanel’s spring 2026 collection marked creative director Matthieu Blazy’s first couture curation for the French luxury fashion house since his appointment to the maison in December 2024. “I wanted something light, poetic and easily understood,” Blazy said of the collection during a preview, per Joelle Diderich’s WWD review. “Making something light also allows me to dial down the drama,” the couturier said.
“By stripping away brand signifiers like tweed and camellia flowers, Blazy shed the baggage of the Karl Lagerfeld era and sought to return to the essence of the house’s founder,” Diderich wrote of the collection.

Kidman returned to Chanel as a brand ambassador in 2025, more than 20 years after she starred in a Baz Luhrmann-directed Chanel No.5 fragrance campaign. “As someone who has such an appreciation for haute couture, I am so looking forward to witnessing Matthieu’s vision for the oldest haute couture house still in operation and having the opportunity to wear what I know will be gorgeous creations,” Kidman said in a statement.
“Chanel has always been ahead of the curve, shining a smart and gracious light on women, and I am sure Matthieu will be no exception, just like Karl did in his time,” she added.

Based on the book series by Patricia Cornwell, “Scarpetta” follows Kay Scarpetta, played by Kidman, a forensic pathologist who returns to her work while haunted by a case from her past. The series hits Prime Video on March 11.
