Nigel Sylvester Air Jordan 4 Brick After Brick IQ8055-100 Release Date

Leaks, rumors and limited glimpses of Nigel Sylvester‘s second Air Jordan 4 collaboration have put the shoe in front of the public since before the first even released nearly a year ago. Now, however, the man at the center of it all is giving the first full look at the forthcoming sneaker while revealing its name.

The Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 “Brick After Brick” will release soon and is essentially a mash-up of his “Brick by Brick” AJ4 from last year and the model’s original “Fire Red” edition. Color-blocking for the impending sneaker is essentially the same as “Fire Red” but with the brick red color standing in at the same spots. Black eyelet wings are replaced by the darker shade of red, and a cream white is swapped in for a brick-textured mustache while making additional appearances through the nets and portions of the outsole.

Sylvester’s “Bike Air” branding once again appears on the mustache, as does the tiny Swoosh on the lateral toe tip. Hidden details come via “Jordan Biking Co.” on the inner-tongue tag and an embroidered bicycle on the inner-pull tab.

Packaging now consists of a white brick textured box with an embossed “Bike Air” logo, and the internal bag and band make a comeback.

In his preview, Sylvester explained the concept of his second brick-themed sneaker. “‘Brick After Brick’ dives into discipline and consistency it takes to sustain success while continuing to build,” he said. “It’s similar to that universal sentiment: “Achieving success is one thing. The real challenge is sustaining it.”

“Brick by Brick,” meanwhile told the story of the work in building that initial foundation of success.

The Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 “Brick After Brick” is expected to release during the summer season, which could be as early as April given traditional fashion calendars. Pricing is set at $225.
