Nintendo has set a new Indie World showcase of games coming to both Nintendo Switch 1 and 2, and it’s happening very soon

Nintendo has been off to a strong start this year, and Pokémon Pokopia, which is releasing later this week, is shaping up to be the massive hit many suspected. Far from slowing down before we’re well into the spring season, the company has just announced a new Indie World showcase stream, and it’s coming this week.

In fact, the chosen day is tomorrow, 3rd March. “Roughly 15 minutes of news and updates on indie games coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch” is what’s been promised, so don’t expect updates on first-party titles… unless there’s a small quirky collaboration in the works with an indie studio. The time? 6am PT / 9am ET / 2pm GMT.

As usual, gamers will be able to follow the presentation via YouTube and Twitch, as well as other games media and content creator channels. We know nothing about what could be in the roster for this short stream, but with Yacht Club Games’ Mina the Hollower and other big 2026 indie releases still missing a release date, this could be where we learned about their specific plans.

For reference, past Indie World showcases included games like UFO 50, Ball x Pit, Tiny Bookshop, and Cadence of Hyrule; the latter marked a rare occasion in which an indie worked alongside Nintendo on one of its major IPs.

There’s also the chance of indies which are almost here getting an extra promotional push before their big days. Mouse: P.I. For Hire or Starship Troopers: Ultimate Bug War! come to mind as potential candidates. That said, we’re always down to hear about announcements of indie sensations that have already made a splash on other platforms.
