Jenna Ortega brought her idiosyncratic style to the 2026 Actor Awards red carpet in a Christian Cowan dress on Sunday night in Los Angeles.

Hailing from the designer’s fall 2026 collection, the dress harkened back to Old Hollywood cinema sirens, complete with lingerie-inspired detailing in shades of cream. The dress included a deconstructed quality with frayed fabric and a thigh-high slit.

Lace detailing was also featured on the bodice of the dress with a plunging V-shaped neckline. Necklaces draped over Ortega’s shoulders, and other details for the completed look included thigh-high gray stockings and a pair of peep-toe platform black heels with ankle buckles.

Ortega, who often works with stylist Enrique Melendez, has become well-known for her goth style and method dressing, especially when it comes to her show “Wednesday” and projects like “Beetlejuice 2.”

Throughout her time working with Melendez, the actress has worn pieces by Ann Demeulemeester, Amiri and a custom GapStudio gown designed by Gap Inc. executive vice president and creative director Zac Posen. “Jenna Ortega embodies the perfect blend of edge and sophistication, mystery and theatricality that makes her such a compelling artist,” Posen previously said in a statement, regarding Ortega’s style.

Prior to the 2026 Actor Awards, Ortega attended the Golden Globe Awards in January, where she was also nominated for her work in “Wednesday.” Melendez curated Ortega’s Goth-inspired look, a Dilara Fındıkoğlu ensemble from the designer’s spring 2026 collection.

Sunday’s 32nd annual Actor Awards, previously known as the Screen Actors Guild Awards, honor the best performances in film and TV from 2025. Kristen Bell hosts the 2026 edition of the Actor Awards, held at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles. “One Battle After Another” leads the evening with a record-setting seven nominations, followed by “Sinners” and the TV comedy series “The Studio.” The awards show will stream live on Netflix beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
