Teyana Taylor turned the SAG Actor Awards 2026 red carpet into her own personal runway, wearing a surrealist Thom Browne dress to the latest awards show on Sunday night in Los Angeles.
Taylor went with a strapless gown with a bodice resembling an abstract painting of a naked woman’s body, showcased in shades of gray and off-white. The artistic slant was further emphasized by a wavy neckline and similarly curvy delineation between the fitted bodice and floor-sweeping skirt, which was streaked with lines of silver. A handful of ribbons falling from the back of the dress made the look even more dynamic.

It was a family affair for the multihyphenate artist, who posed with her five-year-old daughter Rue Rose Shumpert on the red carpet — she even helped to ensure her mom’s dress was photo-ready, attentively laying the train flat on the ground.
There’s been no shortage of knockout red carpet fashion moments from Taylor throughout 2025 and 2026. A major year for the longtime actress and recording artist, Taylor had a breakthrough with her role as Perfidia Beverly Hills in the Paul Thomas Anderson-directed “One Battle After Another.”

Working alongside styling team Wayman Bannerman and Micah McDonald, Taylor’s worn custom pieces by Schiaparelli, at the 2026 Golden Globe Awards in January, and Burberry at the BAFTA Film Awards in London on Feb. 22. “[Teyana] is completely unapologetic in who she is and how she shows up, and that confidence comes through in every look,” Jordyn Woods, founder of clothing brand Woods by Jordyn, said of the actress’ style.
Along with her first Actor Award nomination, Taylor earned an Oscar nod for her “One Battle After Another” performance. The Golden Globe Award-winner will join the rest of her “One Battle After Another” cast members at the final awards show on March 15.

Sunday’s 32nd annual Actor Awards, previously known as the Screen Actors Guild Awards, honor the best performances in film and TV from 2025. Kristen Bell hosts the 2026 edition of the Actor Awards, held at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles. “One Battle After Another” leads the evening with a record-setting seven nominations, followed by “Sinners” and the TV comedy series “The Studio.” The awards show will stream live on Netflix beginning at 8 pm ET.
