Teyana Taylor went for an all black everything look at the 57th NAACP Image Awards at Pasadena Civic Auditorium on Saturday in Pasadena, Calif. The Entertainer of the Year nominee walked onto the blue carpet at the awards wearing a pair of drastically elongated pointed-toe pumps.

The “One Battle After Another” star leaned into the drama for her ensemble, down to her shoes. She opted for a pair of pointed-toe heels in lustrous black satin. The shoes featured a low-cut vamp that led into a long, sharp tapered toe silhouette. The shoes featured a stiletto heel made of a black metal material that was slightly curved.

The heels measured around give inches, giving the actress a major height boost. Taylor often leans on platform shoes and towering boots for her ensembles, but when it comes to pumps she regularly opts for pairs with a tall heel and a pinched pointed toe.

The singer paired the classic satin heels with an Ashi Studio spring 2026 couture dress that was also made in a black satin. The dress featured a strapless neckline with a corset-like bodice and a draped effect around the hips. The gown featured a long train in the back with a high-low design at the front that helped her show off the shoes.

The 2026 NAACP Image Awards will be hosted by comedian Deon Cole, with a long list of presenters, including Chase Infiniti, Delroy Lindo, Halle Bailey, Janelle James, Nicole Beharie, Rege-Jean Page, Regina Hall, Ryan Coogler and more. The award show will air live at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday on BET and CBS.
