According to the U.S. Census Bureau report, annual exports in the wine, beer and related products category — which includes cider, ready-to-drink products, sparkling wine and vermouth — fell from US$1.7 billion in 2024 to US$1.2 billion in 2025. Alcoholic beverages, excluding wine, decreased from US$3.1 billion to US$2.8 billion in the same time frame, resulting in a loss of US$215 million.
