Kendall Jenner, Jennie Star in Adidas Originals’ Superstar Campaign

Just one week after Adidas Originals teased its spring 2026 Superstar campaign with legendary actor Samuel L. Jackson, the full cast has been revealed.

On Thursday, Adidas revealed that the actor will star alongside singer Jennie, model Kendall Jenner, football prodigy Lamine Yamal, musician Baby Keem, NBA superstar James Harden, skateboarding legend Tyshawn Jones and singer Olivia Dean.

Jackson, who was featured in a campaign for the Superstar style in 2025, is back for the latest chapter, with director Thibaut Grevet returning as well. In the spot, Jackson embarks on a search for his Superstar. Moving through the cinematic world of “Hotel Superstar” where time doesn’t exist, Jackson encounters the cast, each wearing the Superstar sneaker.

For Annie Barrett, vice president of marketing at Adidas Originals, basketball and partnerships, this new chapter of the campaign is all about bringing “even more character” to the sneaker and the storytelling.

“It was an honor to have Samuel L. Jackson come back for a second season,” Barrett told FN in an interview. “We wanted to bring texture, surrealism and character to life while remaining iconic and true to Adidas Originals. Working with renowned Thibaut Grevet across both chapters has been an incredible partnership, one where we can continue to push the creative world we have been building for Superstar and Adidas Originals.”

And as for how the brand chose its Superstar cast, Barrett told FN that there was intentionality behind the move.

“We always want to ensure we bring the crossover from sport and culture to life through our work authentically – from basketball where it was born, to skate, to fashion, to music to film and beyond,” Barrett said. “We chose individuals who shift the collective perception of their industries simply by existing authentically. [And] each of them a generational talent, defining their own lane, their own way. Every single one of them, changing the game in real time. That’s exactly what Superstar has always been about, timeless pioneers making their mark on culture.”

The campaign comes at the same time that Adidas Originals reimagines the Superstar look for spring 2026 through subtle shifts in tone and texture across the apparel, delivering a modern polish that pairs nostalgic athletic styling with contemporary tailoring. The classic black-and-white combination is energized by bold, eye-catching red accents.

In the men’s collection, this comes to life through tracksuits with looser fits and red, black and white color blocking featuring adidas’ iconic 3-Stripes, alongside Tyshawn denim shorts, as well as tees and jacquard jerseys in neutral tones.

The women’s range expands the idea of the track jacket altogether, with the Superstar Tracktop as a key piece, as seen on Jenner wearing the Equipment Blocking Red Jacket. It also appears in a softly structured, sleek faux leather as well as in crochet.

Rolling out globally this season, the Adidas Originals Superstar spring 2026 campaign will be supported by an integrated franchise plan featuring global content, coordinated brand activations and immersive in-person experiences.

Bottom line, Barrett’s goal with this campaign is for “consumers to see and feel that Adidas Originals is a brand they can connect with.”

“Whether that is from the storytelling, the partners, the branding, the product, or all of it,” Barrett added. “Adidas Originals is a brand for everyone, and to have consumers see and feel themselves within the brand is the dream. I also want them to see a brand that is credible, yet unexpected and bold …and fun!”
