This winter has felt like it’s lasted an exceptionally long time, and to be completely honest with you, dear reader, I’m dragging. I’ve been deprived of sun, sand, and warm breezes for too long, and with each cold gust of wind that makes my teeth chatter, my yearning for a spring-break vacation intensifies. (A girl can only handle -26° wind chill for so long!)
While I don’t have anything on the books (yet), I’ve been satiating my spring-break obsession with some good old digital window shopping—specifically at Revolve. Below, see 18 items I immediately added to my cart, from my favorite beachside scent to a chic pair of sunglasses and beyond.
OUAI
St. Barts Hair & Body Mist
If I sought to create the ideal beach-inspired scent, I’m pretty sure I’d end up with a replica of Ouai’s St. Barts Hair & Body Mist. I wear it year-round, but my obsession with it reaches peak intensity in the spring and summer, thanks to notes like dragon fruit, orange blossom, tuberose, and musk. It’s the ideal warm, vacation-worthy scent that feels elevated—never kitschy or immature.
Vacation
Sun Belt Sampler
I love Vacation’s line of ’80s-inspired sunscreens, which is why I’m adding this nifty Sun Belt Sampler to my cart. It includes four travel-sized versions of some of the brand’s most popular products, including the Baby Oil SPF 30, Super Spritz SPF 50, Classic Lotion SPF 30, and After Sun Gel. The clear belt bag is just a bonus.
Kopari
Golden Sunglaze Body Mist Sunscreen SPF 50
If you want to feel like a golden beach goddess, I recommend investing in Kopari’s Golden Sunglaze Body Mist Sunscreen SPF 50. The nonaerosol, fast-drying mist swirls with gold, giving the skin a glowing, glazed finish. It’s even formulated with hyaluronic acid and antioxidant-rich vitamin C for soft, lightweight hydration. And the juicy guava scent is a sensorial delight. It’s basically sunlight in a bottle.
Free People X Free-Est
Good Feels Tube Set in Baked Clay
I’m all about easy-to-throw-on outfits on vacation, especially when it’s a matching set that looks chic no matter what. This is the latest one to hit my radar. I love the simple, minimalist silhouette and the summery clay color.
Lovers and Friends X Yhasmina Ferrara
Krystal Cuff
Speaking of the path of least resistance, a chunky cuff bracelet is one of the easiest and most effective ways to accessorize a warm-weather outfit. I’ve been eyeing this one for days…
ILIA
Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40
Fresh, glowing, sun-kissed skin is my spring MO, and I’m going to achieve it with Ilia’s internet-viral Super Serum Skin Tint. It delivers light coverage with a dewy finish, offers SPF 40, and even treats the skin to serum-grade ingredients like hyaluronic acid, squalane, and niacinamide. It’s the perfect one-and-done product to use on busy mornings, while traveling, or before enjoying a low-key pool day during a spring break vacay.
MAKE Beauty
Heat Stroke Dewy Gel Cheek Tint in Feverish
I love cream blush, and Make Beauty’s Heat Stroke Dewy Gel Cheek Tint is next on my to-buy list. The gel formula is infused with skin-plumping brown algae and lightweight pigments that create a dewy, watercolor-blush effect. It gives a sun-kissed flush, especially in this burgundy red shade called Feverish.
Charlotte Tilbury
Beautiful Skin Bronzer
After a winter spent in little to no sunlight, my skin is in desperate need of a glow boost, which I plan to get from Charlotte Tilbury’s Beautiful Skin Bronzer. It’s a powder-cream hybrid that melts into the skin and provides a blurring effect on top of natural-looking color. I love how easy it is to blend, and how it takes my skin from dull to sun-kissed in a pinch.
Ortega
Ethereal Glow Balm in Golden Hour
This multiuse highlighter is the secret product behind Lana Del Ray’s signature glow. Her makeup artist Etienne Ortega developed it in four stunning shades. This one, called Golden Hour, is my current fixation. Each one is infused with blue agave and vitamin E and literally melts onto the skin for an angelic glow.
Luv Lou X Whitney Port
The Sonny Sunglasses
My sunglasses collection is in serious need of an upgrade. I’m eyeing (pun intended) this chic pair. I love everything about them—the shape, color, and subtle gold detailing on the side.
You won’t catch me at the pool or beach without proper sun protection. I am a beauty editor, after all. While sunscreen is number one, I like to pack a hat as well. Mark my words: This raffia bucket hat *will* live in my beach bag this year.
Nikki Beach
Karina Hobo Bag
I mean, I have to match my hat to my bag, right?
I’ve been loving asymmetric hems lately. When paired with ruffles, I’m sold.
I own more hair clips than I’d like to admit, but that won’t stop me from securing this orchid-shaped one before I head off on my next vacation. It’s such a cute detail to add to an off-duty outfit.
Supergoop!
Glow Gloss SPF 40 Lip Balm Vanilla Soft Serve
Repeat after me: Lips need sun protection too! While there’s no shortage of SPF-infused lip products on the market, I’m dropping Supergoop’s Glow Gloss SPF 40 Lip Balm into my bag. It delivers all the sun protection I need with a subtle hint of color and a glossy shine. Meanwhile, shea butter and a peptide complex hydrate and plump the lips.
RMS Beauty
Superserum Hydrating Mist
One of my favorite beach or pool hacks is to keep a hydrating mist on hand so I can hydrate, refresh, and cool my skin in between SPF applications. This one from RMS is infused with kakadu plum seed oil, mineral-infused sea water, and a patented GlowPlex. Together, these ingredients deliver hydration, antioxidants, and other anti-aging benefits to the skin.
SNDYS
Lucille Tie Front Long Sleeve Top
This top is perfect for a post-beach or post-pool dinner.
SNDYS
Calena Micro Mini Skirt
I’m obviously going to pair it with this chic, sequined miniskirt.
