Apple Could Launch at Least Five New Products, Including iPhone 17E, Next Week

Apple could announce at least five new products over a three-day event in early March that would include a low-cost MacBook, an iPhone 17E, new iPad Air and new MacBook Pro and MacBook Air laptop models and possibly more, according to a Bloomberg report.

As opposed to an Apple “Event” that has become standard for, say, iPhone launches, a “Special Experience” will take place in New York, London and Shanghai on March 4 and could involve three days of announcements and hands-on time for those invited.

Bloomberg’s reporting seems to bolster a previous one from Daring Fireball about the company extending its announcements to a three-day event.

A representative for Apple did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

While there could be more product announcements at these early March gatherings, such as previewing upcoming software updates or features, the report the focus will be on new and upgraded hardware, led by lower-cost MacBooks that would be available in different colors. Additionally, a lower-cost iPhone 17 model, the 17E, is expected to arrive this spring as well as an iPad Air with an M4 processor, an upgraded basic iPad, and MacBook Pro and MacBook Air laptops with upgraded processors.

The Bloomberg report also notes that inventory for some of the existing product lines (iPad Air, iPhone 16E, for instance) have started to run low, which is likely to be the case if upgraded products are on the way.

Throughout 2026, Apple is expected to shift away from one big iPhone event per year to multiple product rollouts at least twice a year.
