It was a win for the ages.
Against arch-rival Canada, Team USA women’s hockey rallied for a win to earn the gold medal at the 2026 Olympics. The Americans trailed for most the game, but a record-breaking goal from Hilary Knight tied the game at 1-1 with just over two minutes remaining in regulation.

With the game in overtime, it took an incredible goal to end it.
Megan Keller sped down the left side of the ice, beat a Canadian defenseman through the legs with a move across the middle and chipped a shot past the goaltender.
The goal gave Team USA women’s hockey its first gold medal since 2018.
