Guizio Expands Footwear Selection With New Pump and Boot Options

New York City-based brand Guizio aims to make a strong pillar of the company. The label founded by Danielle Guizio in 2014 is expanding its footwear collection with the introduction of two staple items: The Sonny Pump and The Billy Boot.

The new styles follow buzzy Puma collaborations and the 2025 debut of the brand’s in-house footwear line, which launched with knee-high boots. For Guizio, delving further into footwear fulfills a goal of offering the customer a full wardrobe dressing.

The founder told FN, “Dressing the customer head to toe in Guizio has always been a dream of mine, and footwear felt like the right category expansion at this point in the brand’s evolution. As we open more stores and are getting to know our customer even better, it felt important to offer her that final piece that completes the look.

“I wanted to start with two silhouettes that feel timeless but still true to the brand,” she said of creating the sharp Sonny and Billy styles, aiming for the shoes “to feel like a natural extension of the clothing.”

Both styles are made from 100 percent leather, and crafted with a focus on fit and proportion, showcasing sculpted lines that fit into everyday wear. Of the Sonny, which updates the classic pointed-toe heel with an elongated silhouette, Guizio said, “The pump felt essential. It’s elegant, feminine and something I imagine worn with almost every piece we make.”

The Billy, meanwhile, reinterprets the classic tall leather boot with a sculpted heel and understated bow detail. Guizio said the style “feels easy and wearable, and the bow on the side ties back to the femininity that defines Guizio.”

Comfort is also top of mind for Guizio. Enter the trademarked CloudStep Cushion Insole.

Guizio said of the innovation, “My focal point is always the woman. I think about where she is going, what she is building and how she wants to feel when she gets there. With every Guizio shoe, I think about the real women wearing it. She is working, moving, building, partying and simply living. I wanted to create something that honored both style and comfort without compromise. The CloudStep Cushion Insole was born from that intention.”

The designer explained the role the insole plays: “We spent years developing and refining it to create a supportive, cloud-like feel that cushions the foot, reduces pressure and makes heels and boots wearable all night or day. It is more than a technical feature. It reflects our philosophy of thoughtful design made by a woman for women. Comfort should always be the standard.”

Moving forward, Guizio wants to thoughtfully continue expanding the footwear category, beginning with core silhouette entries. A variety of styles are on the way, and the designer teased upcoming collaborations as well.
