Six Sarah Ferguson-linked companies to close after Epstein revelations | Sarah Ferguson

Six companies linked to Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, are being wound down in the wake of revelations about her relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.

According to Companies House, an application to strike off each company was filed after new details about Ferguson’s contact with Epstein came to light in the millions of documents released by US authorities as part of the Epstein files.

Ferguson, 66, was sole director of the six companies: S Phoenix Events, Fergie’s Farm, La Luna Investments, Solamoon Ltd, Philanthrapreneur Ltd and Planet Partners Productions Ltd.

In documents published last month, the former duchess appears to say to Epstein: “I am at your service. Just marry me.”

In an email exchange from 21 September 2011, she apparently wrote: “Don’t know if you are still on this bbm but heard from The Duke that you have had a baby boy.

“Even though you never kept in touch, I still am here with love, friendship and congratualtions (sic) on your baby boy. Sarah xx”

The email is then followed up with a message saying: “You have disappeared … I did not even know you were having a baby. It was soooo crystal clear to me that you were only friends with me to get to Andrew. And that really hurt me deeeply (sic). More than you will know.”

Many of the exchanges are dated after Epstein was convicted in 2008 for soliciting prostitution from a child.

Recent revelations from the Epstein files include that Ferguson thanked the convicted sex offender for being the “brother” she “always wished for” in 2009, and that she “humbly” apologised to her “dear friend” a month after publicly disowning him in 2011.

Earlier this month, Ferguson’s charity Sarah’s Trust announced it would close “for the foreseeable future” after details of her relationship with Epstein emerged, while seven other charities, including the Teenage Cancer Trust, cut ties and revoked Ferguson’s patronage.

The publication of a new book was cancelled last autumn, leading to thousands of copies being pulped, after she was stripped of her royal divorcee title of the Duchess of York.

A representative for the former duchess has been contacted for comment.
