Oil Rises as Iran Conducts Naval Drills Before Talks With US


West Texas Intermediate traded near $64 a barrel, with no settlement on Monday because of a US holiday, while Brent closed below $69. Iran’s Revolutionary Guard is conducting naval drills in the “region of” the Strait of Hormuz, the vital waterway that ships about a fifth of the world’s barrels, the nation’s semi-official Tasnim news agency said.
