Canada and Sweden to Reaffirm Support for Ukraine During State Visit



Monday, November 17, 2025 – The Honourable Anita Anand, Minister of Foreign Affairs, will welcome Their Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden at a Canada-Sweden event highlighting both countries’ strong and enduring support for Ukraine’s resilience. Minister Anand will participate in a joint discussion with Sweden’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Energy, Business and Industry, Ebba Busch, alongside representatives of the Ukrainian-Canadian community.
