City aims to cut 1,000 positions in next 4 years.

Mayor Soraya Martinez Ferrada said she is aiming to cut 1,000 positions by the end of her four-year term in 2029.

“In recent years, the city’s administrative machinery has become cumbersome, complex, rigid,” she said Wednesday.
