Chorus Aviation reports Q4 profit of $16.7M, up from a loss of $6.6M the prior year


HALIFAX — Chorus Aviation Inc. says its net income was $16.7 million in the fourth quarter, up from a loss of $6.6 million during the same period the prior year.

The Halifax-based company says its operating revenue was $320.2 million during the fourth quarter, down 9.3 per cent year-over-year from $353.2 million.

Chorus Aviation also announced an agreement to acquire Kadex Aero Supply Ltd., an aircraft parts distributor which also provides repair and overhaul services.

The deal is expected to close in the second quarter of 2026 and is valued at about $50 million, $43 million of which will be funded by cash with the remainder payable over the next two years, subject to certain performance targets.

Chorus Aviation CEO Colin Copp says the Kadex acquisition will strengthen its overall aviation, aerospace and defence platforms.

Chorus leases planes around the world while providing regional service for Air Canada through its Jazz Aviation subsidiary.
