Attention, travelers: A Capital One Landing has arrived at New York’s LaGuardia Airport (LGA), and TPG got a first look at the new space ahead of its Feb. 18 opening.
A departure from usual airport lounges, Capital One Landings focus on hospitality, restaurant-quality food and fast service. The space takes inspiration from Capital One Lounges and José Andrés’ restaurants.
As the second Capital One Landing in the issuer’s portfolio — the other is at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) — here’s what to expect from the vibrant new space.

Capital One Landing lounge at LGA
Located inside Terminal B near the bridge to gates 11-31, the Capital One Landing at LGA is approximately 12,500 square feet and features floor-to-ceiling windows and sweeping views of the iconic New York skyline.

Travelers will find amenities such as outlets at each seat, Wi-Fi, luggage nooks and five private bathrooms, each equipped with a changing table. As a mom of a 1-year-old, this is a major plus.
On the walls, guests will find a 30-foot mural, as well as other artwork by local New York artists intended to evoke feelings of community and belonging.

With the expansive layout, tons of natural light and lush greenery placed throughout the space, this Capital One Landing creates an elevated airport experience, and one you will not want to miss.

Guests can access this space every day between 5 a.m. and 10 p.m.

Capital One Landing at LGA food
With an emphasis on food, Capital One partnered with chef José Andrés to curate a Spanish-style tapas experience for travelers.
When you walk in, you’ll have the option to be seated at a table or grab a quick bite or drink from one of two bars. At each bar, you’ll find meats, cheeses, small plates and desserts. A staple at José Andrés restaurants, the burnt cheesecake is a must-grab.

You can order from a selection of craft cocktails or nonalcoholic mocktails. But if you have a specific drink in mind, you can also ask the bartender to make it.

To experience the full dining service at the Capital One Landing, each table will have a QR code that lets guests view and order tapas and drinks right to their table.
For me, some standout menu items included carne asada with mojo verde, roasted carrots with spicy matcha sauce and sour cream, and the chicken-bechamel croquettes. Since these are small plates, you can sample a few items or even the whole menu while you’re waiting for your flight.

What really sets the Capital One Landings apart is the quality and presentation of the food. It feels like you’re in a restaurant instead of an airport.

Always looking to take the dining experience one step further, Capital One will continue its Daily Rituals at its LGA space. A bar cart roams the space as travelers are greeted with food and cocktail experiences. Depending on the day and time, Daily Rituals can range from goat-cheese-infused caviar cones to tableside martinis.
I also tried the Vermouth Ritual cart, which featured a selection of vermouths with customized garnishes. The drink carts also offer a few snack options, such as marinated olives and potato chips with salsa.
I experienced the lunch options, but the Capital One Landing at LGA will serve a variety of a la carte options for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
How to access the Capital One Landing at LGA
Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card and Capital One Venture X Business primary cardholders can enjoy unlimited access to Capital One Landings and lounge locations; additional guests will be charged $45 per visit, per guest. However, cardholders who spend at least $75,000 per calendar year can bring one complimentary guest per visit.

Additionally, primary cardholders can pay an annual lounge access fee of $125 for additional cardholders to maintain access to Capital One Landings and lounges.
If you have the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card or the Capital One Spark Miles for Business card, you can access Capital One Landings and lounges for a discounted rate of $45 per visit.
Note that guests under 17 years old must be accompanied by an eligible cardholder and can enter for a discounted rate of $25 per visit; kids under 2 years old are free.
If you are not a cardholder, you can access Capital One Landings for $90 per visit.
Make a reservation
Aside from accessing the Capital One Landing with an eligible credit card, you can also prebook a reservation two months in advance. So, for those who do not like waiting in long lounge lines at the airport, book through the Capital One Dining portal and choose “Make a reservation.” From there, you can book a specific time, date and party size right in the app.
This is a major plus for eligible Venture X and Venture X Business cardholders.
Whether you have a reservation or are a walk-in, Capital One Landing guests will be seated at a table. Therefore, you will not have to walk around for 10 minutes hunting for a table or an open spot.

Bottom line
The Capital One Landing at LGA is a carefully curated space where travelers can indulge in an elevated dining experience at the airport. And the issuer is not done adding to its lounge portfolio.
Capital One is continuing to expand its airport presence with a new lounge set to open at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT), though no opening date has been announced.
Overall, if you’re flying out of LGA’s Terminal B, especially as a Capital One cardholder, you need to check out this new space opening Feb. 18.
