Crunchyroll is raising prices again

Crunchyroll is raising its prices in the US and “select international markets,” including the first price hike to its lowest-priced tier since 2019.

Fan Tier will increase from $7.99/month to $9.99/month.

Mega Fan Tier will increase from $11.99/month to $13.99/month.

Ultimate Fan Tier will increase from $15.99/month to $17.99/month.

If you have an existing monthly subscription, you’ll see the higher price on your next billing date after March 4th.

However, with the changes, Crunchyroll is actually adding a perk to the Fan Tier, its most affordable option. With the Fan Tier, you’ll now able to download content to watch offline on one device, a perk that was previously available starting with the Mega Fan tier.

Other streaming platforms, including HBO Max, Paramount Plus, and Disney Plus, have also recently seen price increases. Crunchyroll’s new price hikes across the board follow increases introduced in 2024 for the Mega Fan and Ultimate Fan tiers.
