The business class cabin has seen many upgrades in terms of comfort and privacy at many airlines and even relinquished the need for a first class cabin. Many airlines have chosen to provide suites in business class, with lie-flat beds and luxury touches. The aim is to provide passenger comfort and privacy with an elevated in-flight experience.

At the Skytrax World Airline Awards, Qatar Airways was awarded the World’s Best Business Class Airline in 2025, along with the World’s Best Business Class Seat for its Qsuite. The airline also won the World’s Best Business Class Airline Lounge for its Al Mourjan Garden Lounge in Doha. Singapore Airlines, All Nippon Airways, Cathay Pacific and Air France all came highly rated for their business class suites. These are independent awards and are based on customer satisfaction surveys.

Each airline has added its own unique touch to its product, and they offer an exceptional experience. With more airlines upgrading their products to attract lucrative business class passengers, in time, we may see even higher standards of passenger comfort on long-haul routes and even more personalization and luxury than we have seen before, which can only be a positive move.
