What to expect from the Grounded 2 Toxic Tangle winter update

Simply put, a lot. We outlined what’s in the update previously, but the short version is this: Obsidian is adding a whole new region to the park called the Garden. A giant greenhouse (well, giant for you and your tiny friends) is the centerpiece, and the team promised a lot more verticality in puzzle-solving and exploration.

The update also adds several new bugs, some brand-new to Grounded 2 and others making a comeback from the first game. They all have some kind of gear associated with them, such as daggers you can make from earwig parts or armor crafted from potato bug bits. Pumpkins will play an important role in resource gathering, you can use mushroom chunks in base building, and there’s another buggy, the Ladybuggy. Just make sure you’re prepped and ready to hunt down a ladybug egg first, since, like with the other buggy egg quests, you can expect to face down some steep challenges on your way to collect this one.
