Simple Flying’s New Feature: We Need Your Help

Here at Simple Flying, it’s our goal to keep our readership informed and up to date about all aspects of aviation. This tends to come in the form of the written articles that you all know and love. We’re now looking to complement our offering and become a wider resource for readers to interact with with the launch of Seat Maps. You can find the homepage for this initiative here!

You might remember that, towards the end of 2025, we piloted the initiative with a seat map of the Delta Air Lines A320-200 to help you make the best possible seat choice. This allowed the readership to provide extensive feedback on the project, and, having taken the various points into consideration, we have now refined the initiative and are ready to begin rolling it out on a much wider scale!

What Can You Expect?

The seat maps that we will present will have all the visual features you can expect from such diagrams, with a comprehensive and detailed depiction of the aircraft’s layout, including its different cabins and other amenities.

While airline seat maps are a familiar concept to many of us who know and love modern commercial aviation, our offering will look to convey all the relevant information, with that special Simple Flying touch. By using our editorial expertise, we are able to provide commentary on the finer details of the seats in question, such as in-flight entertainment, inflight WiFi, and power supply, in order to help inform your decisions on where to sit on future flights.

Starting In Earnest

We have plenty of big ideas for this project, and look forward to being able to create a comprehensive library of seat maps so that readers know all they need before their trips! As it stands, we have completed the portfolios for American Airlines, Air Canada, Air France, Air India, Aeromexico, Alaska Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and IndiGo, and will continue to roll out more resources over the coming weeks until we have covered all of the world’s major airlines on our Seat Maps homepage.

While the project is now out of its ‘beta’ phase, we are still, as always, welcoming any feedback that you might have in order to further refine the offering and make it the most useful and informative resource possible for all of our readers. Welcome to the next generation of Seat Maps!
